Our introduction to bricklaying is a hands on instructor lead practical course. You will undertake a variety of tasks to ensure that you have a good understanding of the basic principles of bricklaying so that when you complete the course, you feel confident in your bricklaying abilities.

This 4 day course is designed to teach you essential skills for laying bricks and blocks safely and efficiently providing basic bricklaying techniques to be able to carry out domestic projects after completion.

This course is suitable for those with little or no bricklaying  experience.

This 4-day bricklaying course designed to teach you essential skills for laying bricks and blocks safely and efficiently providing basic bricklaying techniques to be able to carry out domestic projects after completion.

 The course is in two distinct parts:

  1. Skills & Processes- Setting out Structures, establishing the bonding pattern of a wall, building the structure using skills: gauge, level, plum, range and face plane
  1. Project – Using skills & principles learnt prior, discussing with training your project goals, building a model of your project, identifying any issues.

This course is suitable for those with little or no bricklaying  experience.  Silver Trowel can teach you the basics, mastering these skills takes practice.

Our 4 Day Bricklaying course are suitable for those with little or no bricklaying experience.
4 Day Bricklaying Course, 9.00am until 4.00pm. (Doors open 8.30am).

Whilst training on our Bricklaying courses you will have access to all tools and materials you need to complete your tasks, you will also have a fully trained instructor on hand to help you with any problems or difficulties you have whilst training and it doesn’t end there, we will also be available by phone or email to offer support after you have finished your course.
