Domestic retrofit is the process of upgrading our homes to make them more energy efficient, reducing carbon emissions, and creating homes that are healthier and more cost-effective to live in.

Qualification received on successful completion

NOCN Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit. This is based on completing all 6 modules and sitting a formal, invigilated multiple-choice online test.

Description

This course is excellent if you have little to no previous experience of energy efficiency projects.

The course will build your knowledge so as to give you a better understanding of domestic retrofit. The course is designed as a foundation towards higher levels of training.

Employers are increasingly seeking staff who understand the fundamentals of retrofitting homes.

Entry Eligibility

19+, living or working within the Winchester District.
You will be sitting a multiple choice NOCN test.
The 1-hour test will take place on the same day, shortly after the workshop. The workshop and test will be available in Winchester Town Centre, either face-to-face or online.
