EWPA Dry Lining
Level 2 NVQ
The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Dry Lining has been developed for achievement in the real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification.
This qualification requires you to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and understanding in the real workplace so you can work as a Dry Liner within the construction industry.
You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. You will be assessed by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor whose job is to work with you and help you complete your qualification.

Experienced Worker Professional Assessment
If you decide to take the EWPA route the first thing we will do is introduce you to your assessor, you can do this at one of our training centres or at your worksite or company premises. You will discuss your past experience and your job role. The assessor will also explain to you about the qualification and what will be expected of you. You will fill in your registration and induction documents and a date will be arranged for your practical assessment.
You will be expected to gather witness testimonies and endorsements from your employer to verify your experience and competence. These forms will be sent by post to your employer to complete.
You will then arrange a day for your assessor to visit you onsite or alternatively you can visit one of our assessment centres for your practical assessment. The assessment will be taken under test conditions and will test your abilities and competency in your trade.

There are no formal entry requirements to take this qualification. This qualification can be undertaken without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area, however we do require at least 3 years experience in the trade.
On completion of this qualification you will have obtained the skills, knowledge and understanding and demonstrated competence to progress on to a higher level qualification in the same or similar occupational area or enable entry into supervisory and management positions within the workplace.
Industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role.
